Please make sure the other players are doing that too. If any of them didn't do that and they start lagging, everyone else has to "wait" until that computer catches up so you will all lag. Also make sure you try adding the port into Windows Firewall in addition to your router...

The need of reinstalling will depend on your game files and if they've been modified after the last patch in any shape or form. This isn't recommended in case you have a virus but you could try copying the entire game folder to another system and see if it runs and if it can connect on...

Hi Maxtitan,

Game restriction checks are before you even join a game. It checks to see what difficulty level it is regardless of what bosses died in it. Can you explain your issue in more detail?

All files needed by Warcraft III are already installed so making the game look for a CD is really just useless. Have you done a memory test? http://www.memtest86.com

If you have another computer, you could try installing the game there and test it.

The server list doesn't change on its own. It's connected to Diablo and Diablo II as well so if anyone was playing those games and downloaded something, that'll do it. Try applying this registry key - http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/misc/BattleNet.zip

What router is that? I'm not sure what that Port Mapping thing is to the top but you may have to set it to Enable to eanble all of the rules. Does your DSL/Cable modem have any firewall settings?

Hi 2ez4k,

Please make sure you installed the full version of Diablo II (not just Multiplayer) and that you upgraded Lord of Destruction right after installing it. That should copy all files that you need. If it still doesn't work, please make sure you have d2video.mpq, d2xvideo.mpq and d2xmusic.mpq

StarCraft only comes in 640x480 resolution. If you're using an LCD monitor or a laptop display, you can go into your video driver and tell it to stretch things to the full size.
